Uttar Pradesh Board examinations for sophistication X and sophistication XII began on Thursday – after a niche of two years as a result of Covid-19 pandemic – in varied districts of the state amid heavy safety and elaborate preparations to verify the usage of unfair means.
Talking to The Indian Categorical on Thursday night, Extra Chief Secretary (UP Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad) Aradhana Shukla stated that the examinations have been held peacefully and no main incident was reported anyplace on Thursday. “We have made very elaborate arrangements with regard to security and that paid off. It was a team effort, and all officials who were involved in the conduct of the examinations did their bit,” she stated.
Round 2.97 lakh CCTV cameras have been put in throughout at 8,373 examination centres to curb dishonest. “The feed from these cameras is being monitored in district-level control rooms,” stated a press release issued by the UP Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad. The state authorities has declared 861 examination centres as “sensitive” and 254 as “very sensitive”. A complete of 51.92 lakh college students are showing for the examinations.
“A total of 27,81,654 students had registered for Class X exams this year. Similarly, 24,11,035 students are appearing for the Class 12 exams,” learn the assertion.
