Southeast Queens lawmaker introduces measure to address state’s plastic waste crisis

Southeast Queens Assemblywoman Alicia Hyndman launched laws to modernize New York’s antiquated recycling infrastructure and divert tons of of hundreds of thousands of tons of used plastic away from landfills, lakes, rivers and streams.
