The Dolphins are on a winning streak for the first time this season, with consecutive victories against Houston Texans and Baltimore Ravens in recent weeks. Their latest win against Baltimore on a short week was especially impressive; Miami defense’s befuddled quarterback Lamar Jackson all night and limited the Ravens to their lowest yardage total all season.
Quarterback Tua Tagovailoa, serving as the backup entering the game, also helped in the win. He came in relief for an injured Jacoby Brissett and orchestrated a late fourth-quarter touchdown drive to ice the game. Coach Brian Flores said Monday that Tagovailoa, despite the fractured finger on his left hand, will start against the New York Jets on Sunday.
In this week’s Dolphins In Depth Podcast, Daniel Oyefusi is joined by DJ Bien-Aime, who covers the Jets for the New York Daily News, to discuss the Dolphins’ win streak, what’s wrong with the Jets and preview Sunday’s game.
